Human chain in Rajshahi for Padma River embankment protection

Hundreds of local people of Rajshahi city yesterday formed a human-chain in Shaheb Bazar area demanding actions to protect the Padma River embankment and check erosion before the monsoon.
A rally was also held by different professionals under the banner of Rajshahi Rakkha Sangram Parishad.
Speakers at the rally said the government usually takes actions during the rainy season and wastes money.
