Historical Sindurmoti fair held in Lalmonirhat

Historical Sindurmoti fair was held on the banks of Sindurmoti pond at Sindurmoti village of Lalmonirhat Sadar upazila yesterday, where devotees from all over the country and India participated.

They prayed at the temple and took a bath in the pond water, which brings peace and purity in life, said the devotees.

The fair had begun some 300 years ago, which is being held in the Bangla month of Chaitra or the first week of Bangla year, they added.
