Get prepared to serve patients outside Dhaka

Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim yesterday asked the promoted doctors to remain prepared to work at district-level.

"As per instruction of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina a total of 350 doctors have been promoted... Now I would like to tell them to be prepared to work at district-level," he said.

The minister was addressing as the chief guest the inauguration of World Breastfeeding Week-2015 at Osmani Memorial Auditorium organised by the health and family welfare ministry in cooperation with other donor agencies.

"All promoted doctors will be transferred outside Dhaka where they have to stay at least two years," the minister said. This year the theme is "Breastfeeding and Work: Let's Make It Work!".
