Fire guts six houses in Ctg

Fire gutted six tin-roofed houses in Pashchim Gomdondi area of Boalkhali upazila in Chittagong early yesterday.
The fire, originating from the electric short circuit in one of the houses around 1:40am soon spread to the adjoining others, said Fire Service officials.
Fire fighters extinguished the fire around 4:30am and estimated the damage caused by the fire at Tk 6 lakh, the officials.
