Fire breaks out at Rajshahi Press Club

Fire gutted valuables worth around Tk 6 lakh at Rajshahi Press Club yesterday.

The fire, which originated from an electric short circuit around 3:00am, was doused by the fire fighters after half-an-hour, said Fire Service officials.

General Secretary of the club Saidur Rahman who was inside was rescued unhurt. The valuables which were gutted in the fire include three computers, a laptop, a fax machine and furniture, said Saidur.
