Fire breaks out at fiber factory

Fire gutted valuables of a fiber factory in Kalurghat area of Chittagong city early yesterday.

The fire originated from the spinning room of Ciho Fiber Ltd around 1:00am due to a machinery trouble and soon engulfed the adjacent rooms. Fire fighters doused the blaze after an hour and estimated the damage at Tk 5 lakh.
