CCC mayor stresses master plan for urbanisation

Without a master plan a planned urbanisation is impossible, said Chittagong City Corporation Mayor AJM Nasir Uddin yesterday.

He was addressing a views exchange meeting "Master plan, building flyover and mitigation of traffic congestion" in the CCC conference room.

He stressed upgrade of the present 20-year master plan of Chittagong city formulated in 1995.

The mayor said cooperation from the ministries concerned like finance, planning and LGRD could make implementation of such master plan easier.
