CCC election officials' training begins today

The first phase of the six-day training for officials, appointed for conducting Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) election, begins today in the port city.

Forty-nine trainers will provide the training till April 18 at Dr Khastagir Government Girls' High School and Kajem Ali High School and College, said EC officials.

Around 16,000 officials, who had previous experience, selected from government organisations, except CCC, banks and insurance companies, will be trained in different phases. A total of 18,13,449 voters are expected to cast votes.
