Burn victim dies in DMCH

One of the three of a family who were burnt when a fire broke out in an apartment on Central Road in the capital on Saturday, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital yesterday.

The victim is Panna Akhter, 28,.

Her uncle Fazlur Rahman, 45, is still undergoing treatment while Panna's brother Delwar Hossain, 26, is recovering, said physicians.

Sarwar Hossain, additional deputy commissioner of Detective Branch of police, who is a member of the investigation committee formed to find the reasons of the fire, confirmed that the fire broke out when accumulated gas leaking from a pipe came into contact with electric short circuit.
