Boy dies falling from bus

A 12-year-old boy died under a BRTC bus's wheels after he fell from it in the capital's Mirpur yesterday.

His identity could not be known immediately.

He was hanging from a rod at the rear gate of the double-decker bus, fell on the ground after the driver slammed on the breaks abruptly to avoid a collision with another vehicle, said police. Police seized the bus and detained its driver.
