Boy dies, 3 of family fall ill after eating puffer fish

A boy died and three of his family members fell ill after eating puffer fishes during their lunch in the capital's Hazaribagh yesterday.

Arif Hossain, 5, was declared dead at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where his father Ismail, 40, mother Amena Begum, 32, and brother Akhtar Hossain, 15, were undergoing treatment, said Sentu Dash Biswas, assistant sub-inspector at DMCH police outpost.
