Body of missing worker found in Ctg

The divers of Fire Service yesterday recovered the body of a worker from a canal, after he went missing when a girder of an old bridge collapsed on Sunday.

The deceased Md Hashem, 28, of Naogaon Sadar, along with others, was breaking the bridge over the canal to construct it anew, said Officer-in-Charge of Boalkhali Police Station Salahuddin Chowdhury.

The body was sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital for an autopsy, the OC added.
