Bhutanese envoy meets president
Bhutanese Ambassador to Bangladesh Pema Choden made a farewell call on President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban here yesterday.
During the meeting, the president said the scope to expand trade and investment of the region will be increased when the Bangladesh-Bhutan-India-Nepal (BBIN) Motor Vehicle Agreement will be implemented, President's Press Secretary Joynal Abedin told the news agency. He said Bhutan can use Mongla and Payra ports for raising its trade.
Pema Choden said Bhutan attaches highest importance to strengthening its relations with Bangladesh.
