85,000 Yaba siezed in Ctg

Police siezed 85,000 pieces of Yaba tablets from Gachhbaria area of Chandanaish upazila in Chittagong early yesterday.

Officer-in-Charge of Chandanaish Police Station Gazi Md Shakhawat Hossain said police signaled a Chittagong-bound motorcycle to stop on Chittagong-Cox's Bazar Highway in the area around 12:30am.

However, the two motorcycle riders ignored the signal and fled the scene leaving back a bag containing the Yaba pills, the OC farther said.
