50 years of independence: Traffic movement on various roads in Dhaka to be restricted tomorrow

Traffic movement on various important roads of Dhaka metropolitan area will be controlled and it will be closed for some time due to the movement of foreign VVIPs on the occasion of the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the golden jubilee of independence tomorrow (Friday).

The 41st BCS Preliminary Examination is also scheduled for tomorrow.

As such, Dhaka Metropolitan Police in a statement today requested all examinees to leave their respective homes for the examination center with sufficient time in hand so that they can reach their respective examination centers by 8:30am.

"The Traffic Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police sincerely apologises for this temporary inconvenience," reads the statement.
