4 injured in Gazipur factory fire

Four people were injured in a fire at a sweater factory in Boardbazar area of Gazipur city yesterday.

They were admitted to a local hospital.

Fire Service officials said the fire ensued at the factory of Metric Sweater Ltd on the top floor of an eight-storey building around 7:30am. Fire fighters managed to douse it around 12:00pm.

The reason behind the fire and the extent of damage caused by it could not be known immediately, the officials added.
