3 remanded over double murder

A Sylhet court yesterday granted one-day remand for each of the three people, arrested in connection with a case filed over Sylhet double-murder on Friday night.

Police produced the three -- Ponki, Roki and Jamal who were arrested on Saturday -- before the court seeking 7-day remand.

Mentionable, two employees of Banoful sweetmeat factory in Kadimnagar of the city -- Raju and Tapu -- were killed and another was injured by miscreants outside the factory.
