3 airways staff jailed in Dhaka

Two employees of Bangladesh Biman and another of Jet Airways were sentenced to one-year imprisonment yesterday for stealing fuel oil of Biman's vehicles used for ground handling at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

Mushfiqur Rahman and Sajidur are the staff of Biman while Abu Salek is the microbus driver of Jet Airways, said Sharif Md Forhad Hossain, an executive magistrate working at the airport. The security men caught them red-handed, he added.
