2 Sylhet Banoful staff killing sparks protest

Workers of different factories and members of Hotel Shramik Union yesterday blocked the Sylhet-Tamabil road in Khadimnagar BSCIC area protesting the killing of two employees of Banoful sweetmeat on Friday.

Demanding capital punishment for the killers, they also threatened to go for tougher movement if the killers are not arrested immediately.

On Friday night, two employees Raju and Tapu of Banoful sweetmeat factory were killed and another Russell was injured by miscreants following an altercation outside the factory in the area of Sylhet city.

Three people were arrested in connection with the killings and a case was filed yesterday.
