2 more remanded over Sylhet murders

A Sylhet court yesterday granted a one-day remand for each of two more people who were arrested in connection with a case filed over the recent killing of two Banoful sweetmeat factory staff in the city.

The arrestees -- Syed Raihan Ahmed Sani and Alomgir Hosain of Sylhet Sadar -- were placed before the court with a 7-day remand prayer, said police. On Tuesday, the court granted a one-day remand for each of three others.
