State University of Bangladesh and SERAC-Bangladesh sign MoU

State University of Bangladesh (SUB) and SERAC-Bangladesh have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to promote youth leadership, strengthen research collaboration, create internship opportunities for students, and advance joint initiatives in public health, education, and social development.

The MoU was signed on June 30, 2026, at the SUB Seminar Room. On behalf of State University of Bangladesh, the MoU was signed by the Treasurer, Prof. Dr Hasan Kawser. On behalf of SERAC-Bangladesh, it was signed by SM Shaikat, Executive Director of SERAC-Bangladesh.

Under this partnership, both institutions will work together to promote youth leadership and development, enhance research collaboration, create internship opportunities for students, and organise joint training programmes, seminars, workshops, and community engagement initiatives. The collaboration will also open new opportunities for future cooperation in the areas of public health, education, and social development.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by Farhana Sharmin, Additional Registrar of State University of Bangladesh, and Dr Izzy Justice, a pioneering sports neuroscientist, best-selling author, peak performance coach, and founder of neuro580gives.

The initiative was led by Prof. Dr Md Anower Hussain, Chairman of the Department of Public Health, State University of Bangladesh, and Chairman of the Center for National & International Cooperation (CNIC). His vision and leadership played a key role in making this collaboration possible.

Members of CNIC, the Department of Public Health, State University of Bangladesh, and the SERAC-Bangladesh team were also present at the ceremony. The organisers expressed hope that this partnership will create meaningful opportunities for students, researchers, and communities in the years ahead.
