MIE Pathways holds NCUK Graduation Ceremony 2026
MIE Pathways, Bangladesh’s only accredited NCUK Study Centre, hosted the NCUK Graduation Ceremony 2026 at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre (BCFCC), celebrating 148 students who completed the internationally recognised NCUK International Foundation Year (IFY) programme.
The number of graduates rose sharply from 32 in 2025 to 148 this year, highlighting growing interest among Bangladeshi students in international pathway programmes for higher education abroad.
The ceremony brought together graduates and their families, educators, academic leaders, education partners, and representatives from the education sector.
Suzanne Bartlett, Chief Academic Officer of NCUK, attended the ceremony as the chief guest. Among the other guests were Captain A K M Golam Kibria, Chairman of MH Global Group; Golam Mortuza, CEO of MH Global Group; Zahirul Islam, CCO of MH Global Group; and Neil Upton, Project Director of MH Global Group.
The event featured certificate presentations, student speeches, and academic recognition, while celebrating the graduates’ progression to universities worldwide.
Following completion of the NCUK Foundation programme, MIE Pathways graduates are progressing to universities in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the USA, Europe and Malaysia.
Launched in Bangladesh in 2024, MIE Pathways currently operates branches in Dhanmondi, Uttara, Chattogram and Sylhet. Its nine-month NCUK IFY programme prepares students who have completed O level, AS, A level, or HSC for undergraduate study abroad by developing their academic, English language, and study skills.
According to NCUK, the IFY has been benchmarked by UK NARIC as comparable to the UK GCE A level standard and is regulated by Ofqual in England, with equivalency validation by UK ENIC.
Eligible students can progress to more than 80 NCUK university partners across multiple countries. NCUK’s partners include 10 universities ranked among the world’s top 100 and 21 among the top 200 in the 2026 QS World University Rankings.
The 2026 graduation ceremony marks another milestone for MIE Pathways as it continues to expand international higher education opportunities for Bangladeshi students.
