Digital World 2015

With 85 high profile tech personas from 25 countries, 120 govt. institutes and 100 governmental organizations, Digital World 2015- the largest digital expo of Bangladesh kicked off last Monday, February 9th at Bangabandhu International Conference Center. Here we bring you some of the highlights of the event: 

CXO Night, a event which was attended by 500+ top tier CEOs, CFOs, Policy Makers, Board Members and Directors of the Government and Private Corporations, was the starlet of Digital World 2015.

Bangladesh Internet Professionals Community (BIPC) addressed some of the challenges that the freelance and internet entrepreneurs are facing every day.

The closing ceremony was particularly exciting for many reasons. Several interesting announcements were made. But probably the most exciting part was the prize giving ceremony to people from public and private sector for going digital.

Internet of Things or IoT was probably one of the must attend sessions of Digital World. The panelists here discussed how with the concept of Internet of Things, the world is going to be connected than ever.

Digital World 2015 was inaugurated by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. ICT Advisor to the Prime Minister Sajeeb Wazed Joy appeared as the special guest at the inauguration ceremony.
