Prime Bank PLC has entered into a payroll banking agreement with National Life Insurance PLC, a provider of multifarious life insurance solutions in Bangladesh, to offer comprehensive payroll banking services.

The meeting highlighted Bangladesh’s ambition to position itself as a regional leader in secure digital innovation by adopting advanced, quantum-proof security technologies while ensuring inclusive and sustainable growth.

The service was formally inaugurated on Thursday evening at the South Asia Travel and Hajj Service office in Nayapaltan, Dhaka.

The soft opening was held on Sunday, December 21, 2025.

The prize recognises Electro Mart Group’s contribution to SDG targets 7, 8, 9, 12 and 13 through the manufacturing, marketing and after-sales services of electronics products in Bangladesh.

The announcement was made on January 2, 2026, during Daffodil Group’s annual Family Day
