Toyota Bangladesh, BIDA discuss sustainable growth of automotive sector

Toyota Bangladesh Limited has held a meeting with the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority to discuss the sustainable future of the automotive industry in Bangladesh.

The meeting was attended by senior management of Toyota Bangladesh and BIDA chairman Ashik Chowdhury. Discussions focused on the overall development of the automotive sector, with an emphasis on long-term growth, sustainability and improving the business environment.

Toyota Bangladesh said it remains committed to supporting Bangladesh’s evolving mobility landscape through innovation, operational efficiency and responsible business practices. The company operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Toyota Tsusho Asia Pacific and Toyota Tsusho Japan.

BIDA welcomed the engagement and reiterated its support for sustainable investments that strengthen industrial capacity and encourage environmentally responsible growth in Bangladesh.
