Stamford University hosts Annual Cultural Programme and Academic Excellence Award Ceremony
The Department of Microbiology at Stamford University Bangladesh organized its Annual Cultural Programme and Academic Excellence Award Ceremony 2025, celebrating student achievement and bidding farewell to outgoing batches MBO 74, 75, and 76.
The event was graced by Prof. Dr. Md. Younus Mia, Acting Vice-Chancellor of Stamford University Bangladesh, as chief guest. Rumana Haque Rita, Member of the Board of Trustees; Prof. Dr. Ahmad Kamruzzaman Majumder, Dean of the Faculty of Science; and Dr. Mrityunjoy Acharjee, Proctor of Stamford University, attended as special guests.
Md. Aftab Uddin, Chairman of the Department of Microbiology, presided over the ceremony, while Dr. Seemi Tasnim, Dr. Tamanna Zerin, and Kamal Kanta Das coordinated the event with the support of Prodeepto Mobarook, Head of the Public Relations Division, and other faculty members.
The programme featured three segments - a heartfelt farewell for outgoing batches, the Academic Excellence Award presentation honoring top-performing students, and a vibrant cultural show highlighting the creativity and talent of Microbiology students.
The event reflected the department's commitment to fostering both academic excellence and artistic expression, reaffirming Stamford University Bangladesh's mission to cultivate well-rounded graduates prepared to lead with knowledge, creativity, and integrity.
