Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden earns Safehotels Executive Level certification again
Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden has received the Safehotels Executive Level Certification for 2025–2026, marking the seventh consecutive year it has achieved the highest tier of the global safety standard.
The certification reaffirms the hotel’s position as the only property in Bangladesh to consistently meet the Executive Level requirements, says a press release.
Safehotels Alliance, an independent global organisation specialising in hotel safety certification, audits properties against the Global Hotel Security Standard. The assessment covers more than 210 safety and security criteria.
The Executive Level is the highest certification awarded by Safehotels and reflects compliance with rigorous international benchmarks on guest safety, employee wellbeing and operational security.
“This certification is more than a badge-it’s a promise,” said Duco E. de Vries, Cluster General Manager of Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden.
“Our team works tirelessly to maintain world-class safety protocols, ensuring peace of mind for every guest who walks through our doors,” he added.
Joachim Torngard, Chief Executive Officer of Safehotels, said the certification process provides reassurance to both guests and employees.
“Our comprehensive certification process not only elevates safety and security at certified properties but also provides reassurance to guests and employees. Staying at a Safehotels-certified hotel is especially valued by corporate and government clients worldwide who prioritise the highest levels of safety for their travellers,” he said.
The hotel has implemented a range of safety and security measures, including advanced fire detection and suppression systems, regular emergency preparedness drills and ongoing staff training.
It has also strengthened health and hygiene protocols, with enhanced sanitation procedures, air quality monitoring and preventive health practices integrated into daily operations.
Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden said these measures are aimed at ensuring a secure and comfortable environment for both business and leisure travellers, reinforcing its standing among corporate and government clients who prioritise safety and security.
