NSU YES hosts Entrepret Season 3 grand finale at Radisson Blu
The North South University's (NSU) Young Entrepreneurs Society (YES) hosted the grand finale of Entrepret Season 3 at the Radisson Blu Water Garden Hotel in Dhaka on 29 January 2026, bringing together inter-university student entrepreneurs from across the country.
The competition aimed to turn student ideas into execution-ready ventures, says a press release.
Entrepret Season 3 was structured across four rounds—Envision, Evolve, Execute and Emerge—testing participants on strategy, innovation and business execution. The initiative was presented by Southeast Bank PLC, co-sponsored by Gold Kinen, powered by Krishibid Group, driven by AiA Ventures Ltd and held in association with Noor Unique Builders.
Six finalist teams pitched their start-up ideas to a judging panel comprising Kashef Rahman of ShareTrip, Rehanur Rahman of Crimson Cup Coffee Bangladesh and Zia Ashraf of Chaldal PLC.
The event featured addresses by M A Kashem of Southeast Bank PLC, Aziz Al Kaiser of the NSU Board of Trustees, Benajir Ahmed of the NSU Trust, Vice-Chancellor Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, Pro Vice-Chancellor Nasar Uddin Ahmed and Mirza M Ferdous, faculty adviser of NSU YES.
Team Kormo from Jahangirnagar University emerged as champion, winning BDT 250,000 in equity-free seed funding, return air tickets to Cox’s Bazar and a two-gram gold bar, alongside mentorship and incubation support.
Team Muri Makha, representing Bangladesh University of Professionals, the University of Dhaka and North South University, secured the first runner-up position, while Team Defaulters from Bangladesh University of Professionals finished second runner-up.
Organisers said the finale highlighted collaboration, creativity and resilience, reinforcing NSU YES’s aim of building a strong student-led entrepreneurial ecosystem in Bangladesh.
