Mohammed Nasir Uddin Chowdhury re-elected CSE director unopposed

Mohammed Nasir Uddin Chowdhury has been re-elected as a Director of the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE).

CSE sources confirmed the information on Thursday (November 27). Under the Companies Act, a director's seat is set to become vacant at the CSE Annual General Meeting on December 11, 2025. As no other nomination was submitted before the deadline, Mohammed Nasir Uddin Chowdhury has been re-elected unopposed as a shareholder director.

He is the Managing Director of LankaBangla Securities PLC.

The announcement was made by the election committee chaired by A K M Mohsen Uddin Ahmed Chowdhury. The other committee members are Md Shawkat Ali Talukder and Dr Md Khorshed Alam Talukder.
