Green University hosts 4th edition of ITD 2025 conference

The two-day event brings together scholars, researchers, and experts from Bangladesh and abroad.

The international conference Innovation and Transformation for Development (ITD) 2025 began on Thursday, November 27, at the permanent campus of Green University of Bangladesh.

The two-day event brings together scholars, researchers, and experts from Bangladesh and abroad. They will discuss research, innovation, and sustainable development.

The event is organised by Green University of Bangladesh for the fourth consecutive year. ITD 2025 focuses on knowledge, research, sustainable business, and intellectual growth. The theme for this year is "Advancing Sustainable Business and Law: Integrating Environment, Society and Governance in Emerging Economies." Researchers from Bangladesh, the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, Malaysia, and India will present work on environmental sustainability, law, human rights, corporate governance, artificial intelligence ethics, innovation, and future development issues.

The opening ceremony was attended by Prof Dr Md Mohammad Shorif Uddin, Vice Chancellor of Green University of Bangladesh, as chief guest. Prof Dr Nakib Muhammad Nasrullah, Vice Chancellor of Islamic University, Kushtia, attended as special guest.

Prof Dr Md Mohammad Shorif Uddin said, "Building on the success of previous ITD conferences, ITD 2025 provides a major platform for our students and researchers to showcase their ideas and innovations. By encouraging international cooperation, this conference plays a vital role in advancing research, sustainable development, and building a truly knowledge-based society."

Prof Dr Nakib Muhammad Nasrullah said, "the research and discussions presented here will positively influence future policies, education, and business decisions."

The ITD conference began in 2021. It works to support research and innovation and to help develop an intellectual generation. Papers from earlier conferences have been published in Scopus indexed journals. Awards will be given this year to authors of selected research papers.

This year, the conference received 192 research paper submissions from home and abroad. A total of 113 papers have been selected for presentation. Awards will be presented to authors of the best-selected papers.
