DBL Ceramics sponsors friendly match to start Ceramic Expo 2025

A friendly football match marked the start of Ceramic Expo 2025. The match was organised to promote harmony and goodwill.

It featured officials from DBL Group and European representatives from international companies attending Ceramic Expo 2025.

The match, sponsored and organised by DBL Ceramics, was held on the evening of November 26, 2025 at the Chef's Table Courtside on 100 Fit Madani Avenue in Dhaka. Distinguished guests were present at the field, including Ambassador H.E. Antonio Alessandro and officials from the Embassy of Italy. Others present included Nuria Lopez, Chairperson of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh; M. A. Rahim, Vice Chairman of DBL Group; and M. A. Quader, DMD and Group CEO of DBL Group. Senior officials from DBL Group, DBL Ceramics, and representatives from international companies also attended.

DBL Group officials wore red jerseys. The European representatives wore white jerseys.

After the match, the Chief Business Officer of DBL Ceramics, Mohammad Bayazed Bashar, said, "Our goal was not just to play the game, but also to facilitate friendly relationships with the European representatives attending the expo and to strengthen those ties. We hope that such events will further promote collaboration and goodwill in both our business and cultural exchanges."

Members of the European delegation thanked DBL Group for organising the event. They said they were thrilled to join the sporting event and expressed a keen interest in working together in the future.

After the match, attendees held friendly discussions and exchanged views about each other's cultures and business experiences.
