AKIJ Resource MD Sheikh Jasim Uddin attends USBCCI event in New York

Sheikh Jasim Uddin, managing director of AKIJ Resource, attended an exclusive meet-and-greet networking session organised by the US Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry in New York.

The event was attended by business leaders and professionals from Bangladesh and the United States to discuss trade, investment and cooperation, says a press release.

Discussions at the session focused on leadership, investment opportunities, sustainable development and ways to strengthen bilateral trade and investment ties between the two countries. Participants exchanged views on expanding collaboration and fostering long-term economic growth.

Addressing the event, Sheikh Jasim Uddin outlined AKIJ Resource’s diverse industrial operations, global expansion plans and innovation-driven business strategy. He also highlighted the group’s commitment to sustainable and ethical business practices and underlined the importance of long-term cooperation between US and Bangladeshi business communities.

The programme was chaired by USBCCI president Md Liton Ahmed. Mohammad Towfique Hasan, chief business development officer of AKIJ Resource, and Shahriar Istiaq Halim, chief executive officer of AKIJ Consulting, also addressed the gathering.
