Abul Khair Group honours GPA-5 achievers

A total of 65 meritorious students were recognised at a colourful event

Abul Khair Group, one of Bangladesh's leading and most diversified industrial conglomerates, has honoured the children of its employees who achieved GPA-5 in the SSC and HSC examinations this year.

A total of 65 meritorious students were recognised at a colourful event titled "You Are the Builders of Tomorrow's Bangladesh", held on Sunday (November 9) at the National Shooting Club Auditorium in Dhaka. Among them, 44 students were from the secondary level and 21 from the higher secondary level.

The ceremony was graced by Naushad Chowdhury, Brand Marketing Director of Abul Khair Group, as the chief guest, and Ayman Sadiq, renowned educator, entrepreneur, and Founder and CEO of Ten Minute School, as the special guest. Brigadier General (Retd.) Mohammed Mamun, Executive Director of Abul Khair Group, Sheikh Shabab Ahmed, Head of Corporate Affairs & Legal, Saad Jasim, Divisional Head of HR, and Md. Nurul Afsar, Assistant General Manager (HR), were also present, along with other senior officials.

Speaking at the event, Naushad Chowdhury said, "Today, we celebrate the success of our family members. Every generation faces its own challenges, and the world is transforming rapidly. In this era of change, young people must plan their higher education with technology in mind. Skills are now valued more than degrees, and developing the right abilities is essential for success."

Brigadier General (Retd.) Mohammed Mamun reminded students that "there is no shortcut to success," emphasizing the importance of determination and perseverance. Saad Jasim encouraged the youth to develop diverse skills to remain competitive in the evolving job market.

Ayman Sadiq praised the students' achievements, noting that "even passing the exams this year was challenging - so those who earned GPA-5 are truly exceptional." He also urged parents to nurture their children with care and advised students to continuously acquire new skills to stay relevant in a changing world.

Each awardee received a crest, gift, and certificate from Abul Khair Group. The event was attended by the achievers, their parents, and teachers in a joyful and inspiring atmosphere. Organizers also announced that a similar celebration will soon be held in Chattogram.
