LG Electronics names winners of 2026 LG Ambassador Challenge
LG Electronics Singapore Bangladesh Branch (LG) has named the winners of the “2026 LG Ambassador Challenge”, recognising five social impact projects aimed at improving the lives of underserved and marginalised communities across Bangladesh.
The winning projects were selected for their potential to contribute to education, poverty alleviation, economic empowerment and community development, according to a press release.
The five projects are Coastal Lifeline of Cox’s Bazar; O-A-K-Kha School of Sirajganj; Coastal Safety/VAN Project of Satkhira; Empowering Sundarbans Women Through Tailoring Skills of Khulna; and Project Uday of Rajshahi.
The initiatives are designed to improve the livelihoods of disadvantaged populations and create sustainable impact at the grassroots level.
Beyond financial assistance, LG will work closely with the winning ambassadors throughout the implementation process. The company will support project execution, monitor progress and help maximise the positive impact on local communities.
Sungho Chun, branch leader of LG Electronics Singapore Bangladesh Branch, said, “Since launching the LG Ambassador Challenge in Bangladesh in 2017, we have supported numerous community projects that have made a meaningful contribution to society. At LG, we believe that Life’s Good is more than a brand promise.”
“Through this initiative, we continue to improve people’s lives by empowering local changemakers and supporting projects that drive sustainable social development.”
“We remain committed to creating a positive impact in communities across Bangladesh,” he added.
Since its introduction in Bangladesh in 2017, the programme has provided a platform for individuals to address social challenges through sustainable community development initiatives.
Through financial grants and ongoing support, it helps transform promising ideas into meaningful actions that create lasting positive change.
