Inflation rose to 5.32% in February

Inflation rose 30 basis points to 5.32 percent in February, fuelled by the increase in prices of both food and non-food items, according to the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics.

General inflation stood at 5.02 percent in January.

Food inflation increased 19 basis points to 5.42 percent and non-food inflation was up 48 basis points to 5.17 percent, BBS data showed.
