DSE managing director resigns

Dhaka Stock Exchange Managing Director Tarique Amin Bhuiyan has resigned from his position, said a top official of the prime bourse of Bangladesh today.

Bhuiyan cited that he could not work freely after joining premier bourse 13 months ago, said the official seeking anonymity.

The Daily Star could not immediately contact with Bhuiyan. He joined the DSE in July 2021. 

Bhuiyan started his 25-year-long professional career as a trainee of ANZ Grindlays Bank in Bangladesh and worked in ING, St George, Westpac, TCS, Accenture and Infosys.

He was also the chief information officer at Brac Bank and founding chief executive officer of bKash.
