Padma Bank upgrades wallet

Keeping the heatwave in mind, Padma Bank has upgraded its wallet (app) so that customers don't have to rush to branches for banking services.

Customers can transfer funds 24 hours a day and send money instantly to any account of the bank, said a press release.

Even if customers do not have accounts with Bkash or Nagad, they can send money anytime through Padma wallet to these two-mobile phone-based money transfer service (MFS) providers.

Apart from this, there are mobile recharge, electronic fund transfer, and real-time gross settlement (RTGS) facilities for sending money to other banks.

Customers can easily pay service bills -- gas (Jalalabad, Bakhrabad, Western Region), electricity (DESCO, DPDC, West Power Zone, NESCO), water (Khulna Wasa, Dhaka Wasa, Rajshahi Wasa), BTCL internet bill, and other government benefits like land tax, parcha, mutation and NSDI through Padma wallet.

This wallet keeps a digital record of every transaction for which customers can see the mini-statement and compare the expense account at the end of the month.
