Friendly policies helping industries: Electro Mart MD

The government's industry-friendly policy is helping industries sustain themselves and hopefully more products with the "Made in Bangladesh" tag will be exported abroad, said Electro Mart Managing Director Md Nurul Amin.  

Konka, Gree and Haiko products are now being produced in Bangladesh, he told a Gree AC Business Meet Conference organised by Electro Mart for local representatives, manufacturer and partners at Dhaka Club in the capital, said a press release.

Inaugurating the conference, Chairman Md Nurun Newaz Selim said they were working for the progress of the country's electronics sector.

"Electro Mart set up a factory in Narayanganj at a cost of Tk 1,000 crore to meet demand of electronics products at an affordable price with international standard," he said.

Mohammed Sazzad-Un-Newaz and Md Nurul Azim, directors, and Md Nurul Afser, and Md Nurussafa Mazumder, deputy managing directors, were present.
