Flydubai resumes Chattogram-Dubai flights after 19‑month suspension
Flydubai has resumed operations on the Chattogram-Dubai route, marking the return of regular international services from Shah Amanat International Airport after a suspension of nearly 19 months.
The airline last operated from Chattogram airport on August 31, 2024, before halting services due to operational constraints, according to a press release from airport authorities.
With the resumption, Flydubai will operate one inbound and one outbound flight daily.
Today, flight FZ563 arrived from Dubai at 8:45am, while flight FZ564 departed for Dubai at 9:45am.
Officials said the move will add 14 international flights per week to the airport’s schedule, boosting connectivity.
The resumption was made possible through the efforts of the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) and airport authorities.
