The Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism has expressed interest in leasing aircraft from Boeing to meet the country’s growing aviation demand.
The interest was conveyed when Boeing Vice President Paul Righi made a courtesy call on Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Afroza Khanam at her office.
State Minister M Rasheduzzaman Millat was also present at the meeting.
During the discussion, both sides reviewed various aspects of potential agreements between Boeing and the interim government. Talks also focused on leasing aircraft to address current operational needs in the aviation sector.
