Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina reached Toronto yesterday morning on a four-day official visit to Canada to attend the Outreach Leaders Programme of G7, the group of seven countries with advanced economies in the world.

An Emirates Airlines flight carrying the PM and her entourage landed at Toronto Pearson International Airport at 9:20am (local time).

Hasina is scheduled to go to Quebec City, where the outreach session will be held, by a flight of Air Canada.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau invited 12 world leaders, including Hasina, to a special outreach session of the G7 summit. The G7 consists of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States.

During her visit, the PM will join the outreach session at Quebec City today. The next day, she will hold a bilateral meeting with her Canadian counterpart Justin Trudeau in Quebec in the morning and attend a views-exchange meeting with Bangladesh expatriates in Toronto in the evening.

Besides, Hasina will hold a meeting with Canada's Special Envoy on Rohingya crisis Bob Rae in Toronto on Monday. The prime minister will return home the following day.
