A shrill, terrible cry tore through the noise of the battlefield. The sound of metal crashing against each other came to an abrupt halt as everyone stopped and stared at the sky. In the distance, they could distinctly make out five shapes approaching fast -- too big to be birds.

International Jazz Day happened to be on the 30th of last month and to celebrate its influence on many forms of modern music as well as to celebrate traditional jazz itself, a group of enthusiastic young musicians from the high-flying band, 42, along with the Imran Ahmed Quartet and Groove Gen, organised a jazz show at Shilpakala Academy in Dhaka on May 1, 2015.

Computer studies are all the rage nowadays in Bangladesh. Anyone who doesn't want to study BBA or medicine would consider studying computer and IT due the high availability of job opportunities local and abroad. There are quite a few who do not even understand what IT entails, but would just follow the trend and get enrolled in the CSE department in a university.
