Today marks the fourth death anniversary of eminent singer Subir Nandi. With his melodic and melancholic songs on radio, television, and in movies, the National Film Award-winning singer captured the hearts of millions of people.

The Shakib Khan and Bubly starrer, “Leader Amie Bangladesh” has been performing well in Madhumita Cinema Hall, even 10 days after its release. The 6 pm screenings of the film even went houseful on Monday. 

This Eid, Puja Chery starrer film “Jinn” released across the country. The Nader Chowdhury directorial horror film is receiving quite a good response in multiplexes. In fact, on the second week of its release, the film has increased shows in halls.

The crime-thriller was different from the rest of the Eid releases this year, and had the potential to be the biggest hit from this Eid.

Unlike the previous Eid, this one was quite special for the Bangladeshi film industry, as a total of eight films were released in theaters. The movies released were: "Leader Amie Bangladesh", "Jinn", "Kill Him", "Paap", "Shotru", "Prem Pritir Bandhan" and "Adam".

The Bobby Haque starrer film, “Paap” is all set for release during Eid. Directed by Saikat Nasir, the film will see Bobby take on the role of a DB police officer.

Despite all the controversies this year, Dhallywood star Shakib Khan is currently gearing up for the release of his new film Leader Amie Bangladesh for the coming Eid.
