Ekushey Padak and Bangladesh National Film Award-winning actress Sujata has been one of the most celebrated artistes of her time. Apart from being a tremendous actress, she is also known as the better-half of legendary actor Azim. In a candid chat with The Daily Star, this “Rupban” famed actress shared anecdotes of her husband during the liberation war.

She also added, “Even though I don’t act as much anymore, I still try. Even when I’m at home, my heart is always at shooting, with everyone else.”

A new film starring Shajal Noor and Puja Chery will soon be released this Eid. The actor will be making his return to the big screen after a six-year-gap with the movie, “Jin”.

The actress, who once used to be busy shooting for small screen projects, is now quite sporadic when it comes to projects, due to her age. "I don't like staying idle, thus I want to work as much as I can, taking into account my energy at this age."

Noted actor Ferdous is currently spending a busy time shooting a new project, and is expected to visit India for another new film soon after Eid ul-Fitr.
