Virtual exhibition ‘Masculinity in your eyes’ underway at EMK Center
A month-long 3D virtual exhibition, “Masculinity in your eyes”, was inaugurated on December 2 at EMK Center. It is available for visitors on their official website. Conducted as a part of EMK Center’s two-week campaign under the global initiative, 16 days of activism against gender-based violence, the exhibition intends to address the root causes of violence, by enabling people to look for solutions. The exhibition will continue till December 31, and it is conducted with Kunstamatrix, a unique tool that enables artists and organisers to create beautiful 3D showcases of artworks.

Baba as a photographer
My first distinct memory of Baba and photography is from 1982. It was my Khala’s (Aunt) wedding, and Baba was taking pictures. He had recently gotten his hands on the 400 ISO colour film that time, and I remember him telling someone “this is a very high-speed film. 400 ASA!”

Sisimpur launches eLearning platform ‘Sisimpur’ app
Sesame Workshop Bangladesh, a non-profit educational organisation, launched a new eLearning platform, the Sisimpur app. The announcement of the interactive eLearning platform builds on Sisimpur’s wide reach on broadcast television and its popular YouTube channel. Children and families will now have access to Sisimpur’s interactive videos, storybooks, puzzles, and games. The platform is now accessible as an app, available at Google Play Store.
