‘Spectre': New James Bond Trailer Debuts

Sony and MGM just dropped the first official full-on trailer for Spectre, aka Bond 24. Daniel Craig of course is back as 007 with Ralph Fiennes taking on the designation of M following the events of Skyfall. This is the longest look yet that we’ve gotten at that film’s follow-up.

It comes replete with Day of the Dead celebrations in Mexico City, closer glimpses of the specially-designed Aston Martin DB10, further screen time for new Bond girls Léa Seydoux and Monica Bellucci, and, finally, Christoph Waltz out of the shadows. He plays Franz Oberhauser who here tells our superspy he has been “the author of all your pain.”

As Spectre unfolds, a cryptic message sends Bond on a journey through his past to uncover a sinister organisation while M negotiates political minefields back in London to keep the secret service alive.

This second time around for director Sam Mendes will be his last, or so he has said. Also new to the cast are Andrew Scott and Dave Bautista. Among those returning are Ben Whishaw as gizmo guru Q with Naomie Harris as Eve Moneypenny.

Spectre premieres October 26 in London and debuts stateside on November 6.
