Shusmita Anis launches album in Kolkata

“Shishirer Sporshe Gatha”, an album of Nazrul Sangeet by singer Shusmita Anis, was launched in Kolkata on August 18 through a ceremony. A number of distinguished guests including Kazi Nazrul Islam's daughter-in-law Kollyani Kazi; grand daughter Anindita Kazi; singer Nirmola Misra; Arindom Kazi; Soikat Mitra, Mansi Mukhopadhay, Sushmita Goshami attended the event held at Kolkata Press Club. Shusmita Anis, the niece of legendary Nazrul artiste Feroza Begum, dedicated the album to the loving memory of her aunt.

The album, featuring 10 Nazrul songs, and music composed by Ibrar Tipu was earlier launched in Dhaka under the banner of New Music Paradigm Company.
