Bonhishikha performs in Assam

Cultural organiation Bonhishikha went on a week long tour to Assam, India on an invitation from Assam University and Shilchar Music School.

A 14-member team, led by Sammilito Sangskritik Jote president Golam Kuddus, performed at two programmes. They took part in the platinum jubilee celebrations of Silchar Music School. The programme was jointly inaugurated by noted Indian singer Haimanti Shukla and Golam Kuddus.

At the event, members of Bonhishikha performed patriotic songs, songs of Liberation War, gono sangeet and folk songs.

Later, they took part in an international seminar.
