Watch the trailer for Mel Gibson's ‘Blood Father'

The official trailer has been released for upcoming Mel Gibson movie "Blood Father."

Gibson stars as ex-convict John Link, who uses the skills and connections from his past life to protect his estranged daughter from a dangerous drug cartel.

Directed by Jean-François Richet the film also stars Erin Moriarty as Gibson's daughter, Diego Luna, Michael Parks, and William H. Macy.

"Blood Father" will arrive in theaters August 12, 2016.
