With the advent of spring for the Bangla year 1421, the Department of Folk Music of Chhayanaut Sangeet Bidyayatan arranged their annual folk music event on February 13.

Artistes of Chhayanaut rendered selected songs of several folk music composers of Bangladesh -- Kangal Deenohin, Arkum Shah, Shamser Ali, AKM Abdul Aziz and Sirajul Islam and more.

The stage was tastefully adorned with makeshift bushes, shades and soft lights creating an apt ambience. General Secretary of Chhayanaut, Khairul Anam Shakil delivered welcome address at the programme.
